Put God First

Luke 22:42

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Father God is the source of all things. Father God created Jesus to be His only begetton Son. By the will of the one and only holy God the Father God created all everything including Holy Spirit for His glory. God is love and faithful to His creation. Jesus is our example of how to obey, submit, and live for Father God.

Vanity vs Repentance

And why call ye me, Lord, Lord, and do not the things which I say? (Luke 6:46,KJV)

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

(Matthew 7:21-23,KJV)

Jesus speaks to us through His Word. We as followers of Jesus should take into consideration of how we are living and what is in our hearts. When we have acceted Jesus as our Saviour is a starting point of having a relationship with Father God, Jesus, and Holy Spirit. The things we learn in the Word of God we should live by.

Remember To Rest

Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the Lord thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the Lord made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the Lord blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it.(Exodus 20:8-11,KJV)
As God’s children, we must rest our souls in Him when it is time to rest. Getting sleep is an import factor for our health physically and spiritually. God has given Israel a commandment to follow the seventh day to rest for restoration and strength in doing God’s will. Jesus came to fulfill and to show us what the Law is like in living by it in our hearts and souls for prosperity within and without. Consider this scenario when Jesus and His disciples were eating corn in the field on the sabbath day as they were being accused by the Jewish rulers.

Matthew 12:1-21

At that time Jesus went on the sabbath day through the corn; and his disciples were an hungred, and began to pluck the ears of corn, and to eat. But when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto him, Behold, thy disciples do that which is not lawful to do upon the sabbath day. But he said unto them, Have ye not read what David did, when he was an hungred, and they that were with him; How he entered into the house of God, and did eat the shewbread, which was not lawful for him to eat, neither for them which were with him, but only for the priests? Or have ye not read in the law, how that on the sabbath days the priests in the temple profane the sabbath, and are blameless? But I say unto you, That in this place is one greater than the temple. But if ye had known what this meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice, ye would not have condemned the guiltless. For the Son of man is Lord even of the sabbath day. And when he was departed thence, he went into their synagogue:

And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. Then saith he to the man, Stretch forth thine hand. And he stretched it forth; and it was restored whole, like as the other.

Then the Pharisees went out, and held a council against him, how they might destroy him. But when Jesus knew it, he withdrew himself from thence: and great multitudes followed him, and he healed them all; And charged them that they should not make him known: That it might be fulfilled which was spoken by Esaias the prophet, saying, Behold my servant, whom I have chosen; my beloved, in whom my soul is well pleased: I will put my spirit upon him, and he shall shew judgment to the Gentiles. He shall not strive, nor cry; neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets. A bruised reed shall he not break, and smoking flax shall he not quench, till he send forth judgment unto victory. And in his name shall the Gentiles trust.

Stay In Your Lane: Mind Your Own Business

Then Peter, turning about, seeth the disciple whom Jesus loved following; which also leaned on his breast at supper, and said, Lord, which is he that betrayeth thee? Peter seeing him saith to Jesus, Lord, and what shall this man do? Jesus saith unto him, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? follow thou me. Then went this saying abroad among the brethren, that that disciple should not die: yet Jesus said not unto him, He shall not die; but, If I will that he tarry till I come, what is that to thee? This is the disciple which testifieth of these things, and wrote these things: and we know that his testimony is true. And there are also many other things which Jesus did, the which, if they should be written every one, I suppose that even the world itself could not contain the books that should be written. Amen.( John 21: 20-25, KJV)

In other words, Jesus was telling Peter to mind his own business. We as believers of Jesus Christ need to be focusing on following Jesus and not worry about someone else.

The Meaning of Water and Fire

“There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother’s womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again.” (St. John 3:1-7, KJV)

Jesus said “Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.”, and it astonished Nicodemus. Nicodemus was determined and sincere in his heart for understanding. As John the Baptist prepared the way for the coming of Jesus the Messiah, he preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins. “John did baptize in the wilderness, and preach the baptism of repentance for the remission of sins.” (Mark 1:4, KJV) Jesus came to baptist us with fire and the Holy Spirit. “John answered, saying unto them all, I indeed baptize you with water; but one mightier than I cometh, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to unloose: he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost and with fire: Whose fan is in his hand, and he will throughly purge his floor, and will gather the wheat into his garner; but the chaff he will burn with fire unquenchable.” (Luke 3:16-17, KJV)

Jesus laid His life down for us as a sacrifice of His blood and water for the remission of our sins. “But one of the soldiers with a spear pierced his side, and forthwith came there out blood and water. And he that saw it bare record, and his record is true: and he knoweth that he saith true, that ye might believe.” (John 19:34-35, KJV) Before the Lamb (Jesus The Messiah) was slain and before the foundation of the world was made, Father God had created and spoken to His begotten only Son and ordain Him as God and Creator over all things.

“God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they.
For unto which of the angels said he at any time, Thou art my Son, this day have I begotten thee? And again, I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

And again, when he bringeth in the firstbegotten into the world, he saith, And let all the angels of God worship him. And of the angels he saith, Who maketh his angels spirits, and his ministers a flame of fire. But unto the Son he saith, Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of righteousness is the sceptre of thy kingdom. Thou hast loved righteousness, and hated iniquity; therefore God, even thy God, hath anointed thee with the oil of gladness above thy fellows. And, Thou, Lord, in the beginning hast laid the foundation of the earth; and the heavens are the works of thine hands: They shall perish; but thou remainest; and they all shall wax old as doth a garment; And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.

But to which of the angels said he at any time, Sit on my right hand, until I make thine enemies thy footstool? Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?” (Hebrews 1:1-14, KJV)

Hate Confusion And Embrace Peace

1 Corinthians 14:33(KJV)For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.

Among us as believers must take heed to be in control of denying ourselves when confusion arises. The scriptures in James 3:16-18 (KJV) says, “For where envying and strife is, there is confusion and every evil work. But the wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated, full of mercy and good fruits, without partiality, and without hypocrisy. And the fruit of righteousness is sown in peace of them that make peace.” Those that make peace are wise and are justified in God’s eyes. Let us consider our ways and make peace with one another. Jesus spoke these words to His disciples…John 13:34-35 (KJV) “A new commandment I give unto you, That ye love one another; as I have loved you, that ye also love one another. By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.”

Spiritual Sucide

2 Thessalonians 2:1-12(KJV)Now we beseech you, brethren, by the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ, and by our gathering together unto him, That ye be not soon shaken in mind, or be troubled, neither by spirit, nor by word, nor by letter as from us, as that the day of Christ is at hand. Let no man deceive you by any means: for that day shall not come, except there come a falling away first, and that man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition; Who opposeth and exalteth himself above all that is called God, or that is worshipped; so that he as God sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself that he is God.

Remember ye not, that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? And now ye know what withholdeth that he might be revealed in his time. For the mystery of iniquity doth already work: only he who now letteth will let, until he be taken out of the way. And then shall that Wicked be revealed, whom the Lord shall consume with the spirit of his mouth, and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: Even him, whose coming is after the working of Satan with all power and signs and lying wonders, And with all deceivableness of unrighteousness in them that perish; because they received not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. And for this cause God shall send them strong delusion, that they should believe a lie: That they all might be damned who believed not the truth, but had pleasure in unrighteousness.

Those that commit spiritual sucide are the ones that have turned their backs away from the faith that is of God. These are the ones that will fall away. Jesus is the only way to eternal life. Before the day of Jesus coming back, these things must come to pass as well as the anti-christ is revealed which is the son of perdition that will be judge by Jesus. Satan will be chained up in the bottomless pit for a thousand years to no more deceive the nations until the thousand years are up. Satan will be loose after the thousand years are up to deceive the nations for a season. When the fire comes down from heaven to destroy the nations that were against the children of God, heaven and earth will pass away and God’s Word will be fulfilled. Then comes the second death, the resurrection of the dead to be judged by God. The great white throne judgement. Whosoever’s name were not found in the Lamb’s Book of Life was cast into the lake of fire where the beast(anti-christ) and the false prophet are to be torment forever without relief. After that, the new heaven and new earth is manifested and the New Jerusalem comes down from heaven into the new earth. Whosoever’s name is written in the Lamb’s Book of Life will be with God and Jesus for eternity. (Read Revelation Chapters 20,21,22 in KJV)
