Put God First

Luke 22:42

Saying, Father, if thou be willing, remove this cup from me: nevertheless not my will, but thine, be done.

Father God is the source of all things. Father God created Jesus to be His only begetton Son. By the will of the one and only holy God the Father God created all everything including Holy Spirit for His glory. God is love and faithful to His creation. Jesus is our example of how to obey, submit, and live for Father God.

From Faithfulness to Fullness

Wives, submit yourselves unto your own husbands, as unto the Lord. For the husband is the head of the wife, even as Christ is the head of the church: and he is the saviour of the body. Therefore as the church is subject unto Christ, so let the wives be to their own husbands in every thing.

Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself for it; That he might sanctify and cleanse it with the washing of water by the word, That he might present it to himself a glorious church, not having spot, or wrinkle, or any such thing; but that it should be holy and without blemish. So ought men to love their wives as their own bodies. He that loveth his wife loveth himself. For no man ever yet hated his own flesh; but nourisheth and cherisheth it, even as the Lord the church: For we are members of his body, of his flesh, and of his bones. For this cause shall a man leave his father and mother, and shall be joined unto his wife, and they two shall be one flesh. This is a great mystery: but I speak concerning Christ and the church. Nevertheless let every one of you in particular so love his wife even as himself; and the wife see that she reverence her husband.(Ephesians 5:22-33, KJV)

Jesus is coming back to resurrect His faithful people with new bodies of flesh and bones. As long as we stay faithful unto the Lord, He will continually bless us. We will be able to wait patiently on the Lord in our blessings. It is vital for us to keep the Lord in our hearts and to renew our minds continually. When we get to our fullness, we still can’t get enough of God and Jesus. That is why our Lord Jesus said He has come to give life and life more abundantly. There is no life better than living for our Lord God. Hallelujah!

Have A Higher Desire For The Lord

John 15:4-12 (KJV)Abide in me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, except it abide in the vine; no more can ye, except ye abide in me. I am the vine, ye are the branches: He that abideth in me, and I in him, the same bringeth forth much fruit: for without me ye can do nothing. If a man abide not in me, he is cast forth as a branch, and is withered; and men gather them, and cast them into the fire, and they are burned. If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you. Herein is my Father glorified, that ye bear much fruit; so shall ye be my disciples. As the Father hath loved me, so have I loved you: continue ye in my love. If ye keep my commandments, ye shall abide in my love; even as I have kept my Father’s commandments, and abide in his love. These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full. This is my commandment, That ye love one another, as I have loved you.

Jesus has clearly spoken that we should have a higher desire for the love of God and to abide in Him. The same way that God has been faithful unto us, we should be faithful unto Him. Therefore, let us be faithful unto God and to one another as the body of Jesus Christ.
