Kingdom Relationship Maintenance: Holding To The Faith

Developing a personal relationship with God starts with faith. Faith is depending on God’s character. The scripture says that God is Love. We as human beings understand by nature that Love is for the good of all things and not for evil. Even though evil is present with us in this world, it still does not negate God’s love to the whole world. This is the whole purpose why God sent His Son to be born of a virgin named Mary, to grow from a child to a man as we do, to live and please God all the days of  His life on earth, to make an atonement for the sins of the whole world by dying on the cross, and to be resurrected for our freedom in God. Therefore we must trust in the things of God and in His character that He wants what is best for all His creation both in this life and in the one to come. All things are created for Him and by Him. The Him that the scriptures speak of is Jesus the Christ, the Son of God. God the Father created all things for His Son, Jesus to be God, Lord, Creator, Author, and Finisher of our faith. Jesus is our example of how we should walk and live before Him. It is impossible to please God without faith. The scriptures also speak of how can two walk together unless they agree. A person’s faith that is not of Him that sent His sent Son to do His will is one that is governed by the unbelief of their opinions and how they feel. The believer’s faith that is of God is based on the life and ministry of Jesus the Christ and fulfilling the will of God the Father. It is imperative that we maintain the faith that is of God by our obedience to Him, doing His will, and holding to the faith that is of God who sent His Son to show us the way.
